UPDATE-AUGUST 24

The schedule has been published, so I have updated my sessions below. Click the image above for the latest information on all of the sessions!

If you haven’t heard, there is an awesome conference being held in Branson, MO, April 2-3, 2020. In addition to having many of the same speakers at the large Microsoft conferences, this is one of the most affordable conferences in the country, almost 10 times less than the major conferences. There are 70+ sessions over the two day conference and 7 additional full-day workshops. I hope to see you there!

When you register here, use my discount code, KIRKHAM, to receive $50 off the cost of a full conference pass or workshop!

New this year: Shuttle Service is now available to and from the Springfield (SGF) Airport. The attendee party and lots of restaurants/entertainment are all within walking distance of the conference hotel, so this is a great benefit to just get you to the conference and back. Sign up when you register; it’s only $10!

I’m presenting a full day workshop and two sessions as part of the schedule.

Full-day workshop

  • AN INTRODUCTION TO DEVELOPMENT WITH THE SHAREPOINT FRAMEWORK (SPFX)
This complete workshop will take you through how to set up your dev environment, build your first webpart, and hook it up to SharePoint as a data source. We’ll also explore SPFx extensions. There will be lots of hands-on work to get you comfortable in this new paradigm.

Sessions

  • INTRODUCING THE SHAREPOINT FRAMEWORK
While new development approaches can be daunting, come learn a simple plan to get you up an running on your first SPFx project.
  • AUGMENTING MICROSOFT 365 DEVELOPMENT USING VISUAL STUDIO CODESPACES
Learn how you can use the new Codespaces service as part of your development toolkit, greatly simplifying your dev environments. It’s perfect for quick fixes, Pull Request Reviews, and to increase performance if you are using an underpowered device for SPFx.

There is so much to like about this conference, so talk to the boss today and get yourself signed up to get big conference content at small conference prices!
